Sales Development Manager

What You’ll Do

Sales Execution & Activity – 70%

  • Conduct 125 cold calls per week to potential clients to introduce products/services, identify sales opportunities, and expand the customer base.
  • Develop an account list of 50 ideal prospects that will be managed through our CRM and followed up weekly through MA+A sales processes, filter, remove, and add.
  • Use contact lookup tools like Seamless.AI or ZoomInfo to gather contact information and generate leads.
  • Maintain detailed records of call outcomes, follow-up actions, and client interactions within CRM systems to ensure efficient tracking and management of the sales pipeline.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Stay informed about product offerings, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.

CRM & Data Management – 10%

  • Accurately input, update, and manage prospect and customer information in CRM systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility for the sales team.
  • Analyze sales data and reports from CRM to identify trends, measure performance against sales targets, and adjust strategies as needed to improve results.
  • Develop, maintain and/or review weekly and monthly status reports and meeting agendas.


Client Management Responsibilities – 20%


  • Conduct meetings with clients and maintain client relationships. 
  • Use Asana and Smartsheet to manage clients and individual projects projects
  • Ensures that projects are executed promptly and organized, gathering essential information and communicating among agency and client stakeholders.
  • Understands client goals and challenges and plays a key role in expediting the rollout of new client and campaign initiatives
  • Manage and support several agency accounts to communicate campaign details, provide updates, and discuss data-driven campaigns.
  • Aids in the onboarding process
  • Uncovers opportunities to gain a more enormous scope of responsibility from our accounts 
  • Assists in new business opportunities through RFPs and works with internal teams to craft winning proposals.
  • Recognizing scope changes and elevating to Account Director

Who You Are

  • A dynamic and motivated sales professional with a proven track record of success in sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Familiar with using contact lookup tools such as Seamless.AI or ZoomInfo for lead generation and prospecting.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, able to efficiently manage sales pipelines and analyze sales data.
  • Asana and Smartsheet experience is a plus
  • Goal-oriented, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales, focusing on cold calling and lead generation.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, understanding how to leverage technology to streamline sales processes and improve outcomes.
  • Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
