Reddit makes another step to boost their reputation and prevalence in the ad industry.  This is the latest of a series of huge changes to Reddit, both internal and external, including a major site redesign in the summer of 2018, a massive update to the conversion pixel just in December, and the poaching of former Spotify executive, to assert themselves as a major player and option for large brands and advertisers.  Compared to before, ads have a much higher engagement rate among users, and the conversion tracking is much more sophisticated, boding well for future advertiser acquisition.Eric Ortiz

Even Spotify is working on way to personalize the content of their ads. With new ‘Discover Weekly’ ad sponsorships, Spotify is using the content of these personalized playlists to ensure that the content of the ad matches the playlist.
