Yelp made a significant investment in their sales and account management services, which has been a big driver of their successful revenue growth in the past year. Q1 earnings report show a big increase in revenue and businesses advertising on the platform, even if the average spend per account is lower, which just shows there are way more smaller businesses advertising there than before.

Quora advertising has a couple of updates that are important to take a note of. The most important of these updates is that they have made conversion tracking simpler by partnering with Google Tag Manager. Typically, platforms of this size do not have the capabilities to partner with Google, but Google has seen the growth opportunity and has created the integration. Quora is still a fairly new advertising platform and with that, they also have released a new weekly podcast to encourage advertisers to give their platform a try.
