Using lift studies and surveys, Facebook released a great analysis on how Facebook ads and outdoor synergize as an especially potent combination for advertisers.  This is yet another wonderful and quantitative example of how digital media not only stands on its own effectively, but also combines with more traditional advertising media to be mutually beneficial.  It doesn’t have to be either/or… together works best!

As younger generations continue into buying ad free premium content, Doritos is changing their strategies in order to reach this ad-adverse generation by removing their logo from their marketing materials for this demographic while also utilizing augmented reality to increase engagement and decrease intrusiveness
