Earlier this year, experts saw another huge potential addition to Facebook’s Advertising infrastructure with WhatsApp, the largest messaging app in the world. However, Facebook is halting that plan, an instead opting to first foster WhatsApp Business and e-commerce hosted on the app. The market for WhatsApp is just less valuable for marketers at the moment, and the users just aren’t ready for intrusive ads, but with this change, the future of WhatsApp is intact, just delayed.
