IGTV, which Facebook has been pushing as a legitimate destination for content consumption, will now start serving placements from Facebook’s sophisticated ad delivery system.  While this was an expected move with more viewers watching IGTV, there is a better deal for actual video content publishers now, as they will be adopting a revenue share model and get compensated for ads being placed on their videos.

Coronavirus is speeding up the shift from traditional media channels to digital. All in all, ad spend on TV decreased by 50% in April in Europe, while channels such as Snapchat saw an increase of 15%, while Facebook ad spend saw no changes.
